Style Mystic was born many years ago and remains one of the things I'm most passionate about.

What started as a mobile hairdressing business grew into a home salon,

Expanded into a commercial salon, & eventually brought me right back to where it all began...

I wouldn't have it any other way!

These days I travel throughout the South Island creating hair that helps people feel confident,

Empowered and unapologetically themselves.

Over the past 20+ years I've worked with people from all walks of life,

Built lasting relationships with incredible clients,

& enough to create transformations everywhere from,

local homes to interstate bookings and destination events.

Some of my clients have been with me for over 15 years.

Which either means I'm doing something right,

or they've simply become too attached to leave.

Probably a bit of both.

Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do.

From vivid colours and dramatic transformations to extensions,

braids, dreads and custom designs,

I've always been drawn to the projects that

push boundaries and challenge the ordinary.

The bigger the challenge, the more excited I get.

But here's the thing...

Hair has never really been just about hair.

People don't come to me simply for a haircut or colour service.

They come to feel heard.

To feel understood.

To feel comfortable enough to trust someone with a part of themselves they show the world every day.

And hopefully leave feeling a little more confident, a little more empowered and a lot more like themselves.

That's the part I love most.

Now, if you've spent more than five minutes talking to me, you'll probably realise I'm a creative soul with approximately seventeen ideas running through my head at any given moment.

That creativity eventually led me into business, project management and developing resources for other small business owners through Style Mystic Pro.

But no matter where those adventures take me, hairdressing will always be where it started.

It's where I found my passion.

It's where I found my people.

And it's still where I get the biggest buzz.
